At SB Media, we want to be fully open about how we run our recruitment process — including where we use AI.
Here’s what AI does in our hiring process:
CV Review – Our recruitment platform (Teamtailor) uses an AI “co-pilot” to create a summary of your CV. This helps our team quickly understand your experience.
➡️ Importantly, every CV is also read in full by our recruitment team — the AI summary is just a support tool, and it’s not perfect.Application Questions – If you indicate you require visa sponsorship, our system will automatically send you a rejection email (as we’re unable to provide sponsorship). Similarly, if a role requires a “Yes” answer to a key question and you answer “No,” you may also receive an automated rejection.
Headhunting – Our People & Talent team uses AI tools to help identify top talent for the roles we’re hiring.
What AI does not do:
AI never makes the final decision. Every candidate who progresses past the automated stage is reviewed and assessed by a real person from our team.
Reassurance:
Your CV is always read by a human.
AI supports the process, but it never replaces human judgement.
We review our process regularly to ensure it’s fair and consistent.
