SBX Cars is a rapidly growing automotive auction platform, specializing in connecting buyers and sellers of high-quality pre-owned vehicles.
As a Manager of Private Treaty Sales, you will lead the private treaty sales group, overseeing discreet, high-value transactions of collector cars outside the traditional auction format. Bringing your established network of high-net-worth buyers and sellers to SBX Cars, you will leverage your expertise in luxury and collector cars, exceptional sales acumen, and leadership skills to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and ensure a seamless experience for elite clientele.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute private treaty sales strategies to meet revenue targets, utilizing your existing relationships with high-net-worth buyers and sellers to close discrete, high-value deals.
Bring your established network of HNW collectors, enthusiasts, and sellers to SBX Cars, enhancing our reach and reputation within the global collector car community.
Generate and nurture new client relationships through cold calling, online prospecting, networking, and working assigned leads, while integrating your existing network of contacts into our platform.
Drive revenues by facilitating discrete private treaty sales, negotiating terms, and ensuring successful deal closures with both SBX Cars clients and your network of HNW clients.
Estimate vehicle market values using online tools, industry resources, and your deep knowledge of the collector car market.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with high-profile clients, offering expert advice on car valuations, provenance, and market trends, drawing on your existing network of connections.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and transaction details in Salesforce.
Act as a brand ambassador for SBX Cars, representing our values of excellence, innovation, and exclusivity.
Clearly articulate SBX Cars’ value proposition to prospective HNW clients
Coordinate the logistics of private treaty transactions, ensuring all documentation, vehicle inspections, and delivery processes are completed with precision and discretion.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the private treaty sales process for both new and existing HNW contacts.
Serve as an expert resource on luxury and collector cars, delivering insights that enhance client confidence and drive private treaty sales, particularly among your HNW clientele.
What you’ll have:
Proven sales leadership experience, ideally in luxury goods, collector cars, or high-end auctions, with a track record of managing discreet high-value transactions.
An established and active network of high-net-worth buyers and sellers in the collector car or luxury market.
Deep knowledge of the collector car market, including trends, valuations, and the nuances of rare and premium vehicles.
Comfort with cold calling, networking, and cultivating relationships, paired with the ability to leverage your existing HNW contacts for immediate impact.
Expertise in sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals with elite clientele.
Excellent professional reputation, underpinned by integrity, discretion, and a strong work ethic.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals, enhanced by your existing relationships.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset tailored to HNW individuals.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Prior experience in car sales at a luxury dealership, collector car auction house, or similar setting is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for tracking sales and client interactions.
This is a fully remote role; you must have the right to work in the USA.
