As a Consignment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the consignment process for luxury vehicles, ensuring a seamless experience for both sellers and buyers. Your expertise in luxury cars, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will be invaluable in driving the success of our consignment program.
What you’ll do:
- Using your sales skills, generate and develop new consignment clients by cold calling, online prospecting, networking, and working assigned leads.
- Drive revenues through consigning and selling cars via auctions, post-auction sales and private treaty sales.
- Estimate vehicle market values using online tools and collector car knowledge.
- Build lasting and trusted relationships with clients based on your luxury and collector car expertise, sound advice, and top notch customer service.
- Document up-to-date records on sales calls, client contacts, and details of meetings in a timely manner using Salesforce.
- Be a brand ambassador representing SBX Cars.
- Clearly communicate SBX Cars value proposition to prospective clients.
- Coordinate the intake of consigned vehicles, ensuring all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to consignors and buyers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the consignment process.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on luxury cars, offering insights and recommendations to customers.
What you’ll have:
- Demonstrated and proven sales experience, preferably in luxury and collector cars.
- Strong knowledge of the collector car market, trends, and market values.
- Comfort with cold calls and/or developing new relationships.
- knowledge of and experience in sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent professional reputation with strong integrity and work ethic.
- Proven track record of sales and client relationship management.
- Proven sales ability with the capability to meet and surpass targets and goals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Prior car sales experience at luxury or collector car dealer or auction house preferred.
What you’ll do:
Cultivate relationships with luxury car owners and dealerships to secure consignment agreements.
Coordinate the intake of consigned vehicles, ensuring all necessary documentation and paperwork are completed accurately.
Conduct thorough inspections of consigned vehicles to assess condition, features, and marketability.
Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote consigned vehicles to potential buyers.
Collaborate with the team to create compelling listings with high-quality photos and detailed descriptions.
Utilize the Supercar Blondie social media platforms and online marketing channels to increase visibility and drive interest in consignment inventory.
Assist buyers in navigating the consignment inventory, providing information and guidance on available vehicles.
Negotiate sales agreements and terms between consignors and buyers, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
Maintain accurate records of consigned vehicles, including documentation, pricing, and sales status.
Monitor inventory levels and sales performance, making recommendations for pricing adjustments or promotions as needed.
Coordinate logistics for vehicle storage, transport, and delivery as required.
Provide exceptional customer service to consignors and buyers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the consignment process.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on luxury cars, offering insights and recommendations to customers.
What you’ll have:
Experience in luxury car sales, consignment, or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of luxury car brands, models, features, and market trends.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using online auction platforms and CRM systems.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
